thank-you-bodies Just recently Rebeca, a nine-year-old foster child in Laredo, sent the Foster In Texas (FIT)-Laredo office a very nice THANK YOU letter [pictured below] for the tutoring services she received, and a trip she was able to take to the movies (with a FIT group of 64) to see ICE AGE Continental Drift .

Rebeca is just one of the many Laredo foster children who has benefited from the Lamar Bruni Vergara Trust (LBVT) Grant. The LBVT Grant provides educational and recreational services free of charge to all LSS foster children residing in Webb County. Because of this trust, Rebeca and others have been able to attend the prestigious Applebee Learning Center for tutoring, just one of the great services made possible by the Grant. The LBVT Grant has also helped us send the kids on trips bowling and to the IMAGINARIUM of South Texas, a children’s museum and learning center.

Along with Rebeca, and so many other foster children and families, the Laredo FIT office wants to thank the LBVT Trust for making these wonderful outings possible!

Laredo thank you
